Raman Luthra wins BDGA title

Raman Luthra finished with a 3 under par total for 3 days at the BDGA championship held at Crag Burn.  Raman shot rounds of 67, 69, 77.  He won by 5 strokes, and Jon Clark and Thad Weir finished T2 with 3 round totals of +2.  See full Buffalo News Article for more details.

Tom Rajczak wins Lonnie Nielson Scratch Invitational

Tom Rajczak won the Lonnie Nielson Scratch Invitational on Monday, 8/5.  The tournament was a 36 hole modified stableford format, with scoring as follows: (eagles - (+5), birdies - (+2), par - (0), bogeys (-1), double bogeys or worse (-3)).  Tom shot rounds of -1 and +8, for a +7 total to give him a 1 point victory over Billy Hanes and Dan Yustin who both shot +6 totals.  Tom is no stranger to playing well at Crag Burn as he held the first round lead in the 2010 NYS Mid Am at Crag Burn.  The field was very strong with most of the top players in Western NY in the field.  This was a great win for Tom, and has created some momentum for him (and the other players who played well) heading into the BDGA championship which is being held at Crag Burn on Thursday - Saturday (8/8 - 8/10) of this week.  All scores have been posted in the tournament results link on the right side of the web page.  Congratulations Tom on a great win.
