Mike Carrig won the first major of the year, winning the BDGA Match Play Championship in the first year in which the field has been expanded from 16 to 32 players and earning 250 points in the BDGA player of the year standings. Yustin shoots 67 to win Club Car WNY Open
Dan Yustin shot a ridiculous -3, 67 in very difficult weather conditions today to win the amateur division of the WNY Open at Niagara Falls Country Club. He won the amateur division by 3 shots over Patrick Sheedy Jr. who shot an even par round of 70. Conditions were very difficult, with temperatures in the low to mid 40s, rain and sleet mix on and off throughout the day, and consistent 10 - 15 mph winds. Dan's round was the only under par round of the day, amateur or professional. See the link for Complete Results.
